About The Position

The General Cleaner is a part-time frontline Team Member who performs cleaning and disinfecting duties using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment. The position is scheduled from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Duties may vary and the description is representative only. The cleaner also serves as a facility’s extra set of eyes by reporting repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in 4M’s practices is provided.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices with green-seal-certified supplies and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
