About The Position
Marsden Central, L.L.C. is hiring a General Cleaner in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This part-time evening position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM and pays $17.00 per hour. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and servicing a facility, including floors, waste bins, restrooms, and other surfaces. This position is classified as essential. Employees are required to become members of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 26 upon hire; employment terms and compensation and benefits are governed or negotiated under the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
- Must complete a pre-employment criminal background check.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must become a member of SEIU Local 26 upon hire and complete union membership and dues authorization.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors throughout the facility.
- Collect and dispose of trash from bins throughout the building.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
- Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.
