About The Position
DETAIL XPERTS is a leading provider of professional cleaning services in the Detroit area. We specialize in keeping commercial, residential, and industrial spaces clean and well-maintained. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness for our clients. We are currently seeking a General Cleaner to join our growing team in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for keeping spaces clean and organized.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and maintain common areas, restrooms, and offices
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock supplies and notify management when inventory is low
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on time
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients and coworkers
