About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time General Cleaners for a medical office at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. The role performs light cleaning duties to keep healthcare facilities clean and orderly, including cleaning rooms and halls, handling linens, and vacuuming. No prior experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Days and hours may vary; the current schedule includes night shifts Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. More schedule details are provided during the interview.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, detail-oriented customer service.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest queries and requests.
• Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contribute to team efforts and demonstrate professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
