About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member trained to perform a variety of cleaning and disinfecting duties using 4M’s practices, green-sealed certified supplies, and equipment. The role is scheduled full time, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am. Duties may vary and the description is representative only.

The General Cleaner represents 4M through reliable, courteous, and resourceful service. The position also involves monitoring facilities and reporting observed maintenance needs, such as repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect using 4M’s practices, green-sealed certified supplies, and equipment.
• Provide reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips when noticed.
• Comply with safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
