About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time General Cleaners for a medical office at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. The role performs light cleaning duties to keep healthcare facilities clean and orderly, while providing attentive customer service and contributing to a professional team. No prior experience is required. The listed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Schedules and hours may vary; current schedules include weekday night shifts from Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM. More schedule details are provided during the interview. Walk-in interviews are available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, detail-oriented customer service.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies; shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings; clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash sanitarily.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers, and wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest queries and requests.
• Respond to housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contribute to team efforts and act professionally with customers, coworkers, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
