About The Position

GDI is hiring a General Cleaner to clean a commercial/manufacturing building. The role includes maintaining restrooms, break rooms, and hallways, replenishing dispensers and supplies, and completing additional cleaning tasks as assigned. Work is expected to be completed within the budgeted eight-hour period. The available schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Attendance is essential.
• One year of experience cleaning commercial buildings.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to use a phone-based timekeeping system to punch in and out of work.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, as required by the applicable government contract.

Responsibilities

• Complete work within the budgeted time of eight hours.
• Clean a commercial/manufacturing building.
• Refill dispensers with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and hand sanitizer.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, and hallways.
• Dust.
• Remove trash.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum.
• Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
