About The Position

The General Cleaner performs janitorial services in a medical facility. The role includes cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and rooms using 4M’s trained practices, green-sealed certified supplies, and equipment. The cleaner is expected to be reliable, courteous, and resourceful, and to report maintenance concerns noticed while working. Duties are representative and may vary.

Available shifts are every other Saturday and Sunday, either 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. The position reports to an Account Supervisor or Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience required; training in 4M’s practices is provided.
• Must successfully complete drug screening and a background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect using 4M’s practices and green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
• Wipe down countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report needed repairs or replacements and notice and report leaks or drips.
• Be a reliable, courteous, and resourceful representative of 4M.
