About The Position

Marsden Central, L.L.C. is hiring a full-time evening cleaner/floater to clean healthcare and other facilities in St. Paul, Minnesota. The role requires driving to the office each day by 5:00 p.m., collecting keys, and traveling to assigned accounts to clean them to the required standards. Use of a personal car may be needed if company vans are unavailable. Healthcare cleaning assignments include rooms, operating rooms, surgery areas, hospital rooms, offices, bathrooms, examination areas, lunchrooms, and other spaces. Some buildings require special garments. The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.; one weekend per month is required on call, and overtime is available. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
A pre-employment criminal background check is required.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
A driver's license is required.
Must be able to travel between assigned accounts; personal-car use may be needed when vans are unavailable.

Responsibilities

Drive to the office daily by 5:00 p.m., collect keys, and travel to assigned accounts to clean them.
Clean healthcare facilities to health-care cleaning expectations, including rooms, operating rooms, surgery areas, hospital rooms, offices, bathrooms, examination areas, and lunchrooms.
Disinfect surfaces and dust daily.
Remove trash and recycling.
Clean glass, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Polish metal and spot-clean walls.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.
Be on call one weekend per month.
