As a General Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of university facilities by performing routine janitorial and custodial services. Requirements

Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills
Must possess a valid government-issued photo ID
Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation required for employment verification
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, consistent with applicable laws
Ability to work 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

Sweep, vacuum, and mop hard-surface floors
Vacuum carpeted areas
Dust desks, furniture, workstations, and other surfaces
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including: Toilets and urinals, Sinks and countertops, Mirrors, Partitions, Walls and floors
Restock restroom supplies, including paper products and soap
Clean entrance doors, glass surfaces, and interior windows
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
Report building maintenance concerns and equipment issues to supervisors
Follow assigned cleaning schedules and company procedures
Work effectively and professionally as part of a team
