DPR Construction is looking for dependable, hardworking General Carpenters to support our commercial construction projects in Colorado (Denver and Colorado Springs). Previous commercial construction experience is required, especially with Specialties(Div. 10 work). Requirements

  • General commercial carpentry experience is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more as needed.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in heights, dust, fumes, and loud jobsite conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Specialties(Div. 10 work)
  • Experience with specialty carpentry, finish carpentry, or commercial interior carpentry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience installing handrails, handicap rails, barricades, temporary protection, bathroom partitions, or similar work is a plus.
  • Experience operating equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and install handrails, handicap rails, barricades, temporary walls, bathroom partitions, and other specialty commercial carpentry items.
  • Perform general commercial carpentry work as needed.
  • Load and unload materials.
  • Carry lumber and other materials to and from storage areas as directed.
  • Receive materials from vendors.
  • Use basic hand tools and power tools, including measuring tape, hammer, drills, and other standard carpentry tools.
  • Assist with equipment operation when needed and when qualified.
  • Perform general housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
  • Work safely at all times. Safety is required and non-negotiable.
