Sky Lakes Medical Center

About The Position

Sky Lakes Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join their tight-knit team in Southern Oregon. This role is a 'bread and butter' conventional cardiology position where the incoming physician will inherit an existing patient panel from a retiring provider while having the autonomy to grow their own practice. The practice is highly collegial, consisting of three Interventional Cardiologists and one General Cardiologist. They pride themselves on a 'work hard/play hard' culture that deeply understands the necessity of work-life balance. Providers average 10 patients per day in the clinic, with 60-minute new patient slots and 30-minute follow-ups. The schedule is full-time Monday-Friday, typically including 3 clinic days, 1 procedure day, and 1 admin day. The practice utilizes two Cath Labs, one recently updated and the second scheduled for renovation within 12-18 months. There is an equitable call rotation of 1:4 weekday and weekend, with Interventional backup always available. Procedures include Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), Cardioversions, and interpretation of Stress Testing (nuclear and treadmill). The position is open to both experienced providers and 2026/2027 graduates. There is an opportunity to work with and mentor Family Medicine residents during their cardiology rotations. Visa support is available for J-1 and H1-B candidates.
