Physician: General Cardiology - McHenry and Huntley, IL
About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking an ACGME-approved fellowship-trained, board-eligible or board-certified General/Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join the growing Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI) Northwest Region team. The role serves a tertiary care community-based setting at McHenry and Huntley Hospitals in Chicago’s northwest suburbs. It is an employed full-time position with clinics onsite at McHenry and Huntley. The BCVI is a fully integrated institute, and Northwest Region providers participate in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of all cardiovascular disease states. The physician group describes its environment as collegial and physician-driven, supporting physician success and compassionate care.
Requirements
- ACGME-approved fellowship training.
- Board eligible or board certified (BE/BC) in General/Non-Invasive Cardiology.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient clinic care.
- Conduct inpatient consultations.
- Perform or interpret cardiovascular graphics, including echocardiograms and nuclear studies.
- Participate in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of cardiovascular disease states.
