About The Position

This is a part-time position with 29 hours per week. The role requires the ability to perform tasks involving extremely heavy physical effort, including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects and materials exceeding 100 pounds. Sensory requirements include visual perception and discrimination, the ability to perceive and discriminate colors, odors, depths, and oral communication. Employees may be exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as smoke, dust, pollen, odors, fumes, temperature extremes, machinery, explosives, traffic hazards, toxic/poisonous agents, and disease or pathogenic substances. The Orange County School District will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to allow them to perform the essential functions of the job when such individuals request an accommodation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Up to two (2) years previous experience and/or training involving clerical or secretarial work.
  • Ability to exert extremely heavy physical effort.
  • Ability to perform climbing and balancing.
  • Ability to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull objects and materials in excess of 100 pounds.
  • Visual perception and discrimination.
  • Ability to perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors.
  • Ability to perceive and discriminate odors.
  • Ability to perceive and discriminate depths.
  • Oral communications ability.
