About The Position

This role involves performing in-depth analysis of large data sets across multiple variables to identify trends and areas for quality improvement. The specialist will coordinate yard campaigns with Production and Engineering to enhance quality at the point of assembly. Key responsibilities include investigating customer claims to determine responsibility, implementing countermeasures, containments, and clean points for each issue. The position also requires investigating real-time quality issues to determine root causes and communicating findings to responsible parties. The specialist will coordinate daily FTT Metric Meetings with Assembly Lines and lead improvement efforts, as well as conduct training sessions and other improvement exercises with the Production Team. Collaboration with Production Leadership and Engineering is essential to continuously improve quality at the point of assembly. HMGMA, which stands for Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, is the company's first dedicated EV mass-production plant, characterized by its application of cutting-edge production technology.

Requirements

• Experience with vehicle production (Minimum 2 years)
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Job related experience in an engineering/industrial environment
• Domestic / International travel required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent desired
