General Assembler
About The Position
This role requires 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses; and/or the successful completion of a color vision exam. The General Assembler will conduct quality checks on rubber stopper pads, operate a heated press machine, use a mallet hammer and other hand tools, and perform fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging tasks for medical devices. The role also involves setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment, conducting quality inspections on the processing line per quality specifications, and working within clearly defined SOPs and adhering to quality guidelines. Effective communication with coworkers and Team Lead/Supervisor is essential, and the assembler will rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English
- Basic math calculation skills
- Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Comfortable using hand tools (mallet hammer, etc.)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass eye exam
- Steel toe or composite-toe shoes required
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Background check must clear
- Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Willing to work H-Shift schedule (3 on/2 off/2 on/3 off, including weekends)

- Previous manufacturing work experience preferred
