About The Position

This role involves assembling parts to form complete units or subassemblies while adhering to safety guidelines and production requirements. The assembler will use hand and power tools efficiently, maintain a clean workstation, and meet production quotas and timelines, including mandatory overtime. A good understanding of manufacturing operations and processes within the department is expected, and the assembler must follow instructions precisely without deviating from the established process. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Electronic assembly experience with a production quota in place.
Experience working with automated equipment.
Experience working with production requirements and quotas.
Good hand/eye coordination and mechanical skills.
0-1 years of experience required.
Strong mechanical aptitude.

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
Assemble parts to form complete units or subassemblies.
Work to meet all production requirements and quotas.
Produce quality subassemblies or units.
Use hand tools and small power tools in an efficient manner.
Prepare workstation appropriately and leave it in acceptable condition upon completion of assignment.
Meet expectations after initial training.
Work within specified production time frame, including mandatory overtime.
Maintain a good knowledge of all manufacturing operations and processes within the department.
Perform job as instructed; must not deviate or change the process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
