About The Position
Two Assembler under one job title, at different sites with different work scope: Covington, GA (4179): Kitting role — working on the line filling bags with products for customer shipment ("Light" duty). 4 openings, temp-to-hire with strong FTE conversion interest. Both roles run 1st Shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime flexibility required.
Requirements
- 1+ year of continuous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or quality roles required.
- Good vision required
- Able to lift/move over 50 lbs
- Able to work required overtime when requested
Nice To Haves
- Material handling and inspection
- Reading rulers / basic measurement
- Quality documentation and record-keeping
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Fill bags with products on the assembly line for customer shipment
- Use inspection and light equipment, handcarts to move materials and scrap
- Sort and inspect materials, reading rulers as needed
- Maintain quality records and documentation practices
- Apply basic knowledge to complete routine tasks within SOPs
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and Team Lead/Supervisor
- Operate within a metrics-driven environment
