About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a General Anesthesiologist to join its nationally recognized team. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside more than 150 highly trained CRNAs and over 70 anesthesiologists in a growing, collaborative, high-performing environment focused on clinical excellence and professional fulfillment. Anesthesiologists at LVHN can customize their practice with opportunities in various subspecialties, engage academically by teaching residents and fellows (starting Summer 2026), and participate in research and quality improvement. Requirements

  • Passion for clinical work to positively impact patient care, safety, and experience
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified with American Board of Anesthesiology
  • A valid Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required

Responsibilities

  • Customize practice with opportunities in cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesia, neuroanesthesia, obstetric and pediatric anesthesia, orthopedic and regional anesthesia, critical care, perioperative medicine and solid organ transplant anesthesia
  • Teach residents and fellows through our anesthesiology residency program beginning Summer 2026
  • Participate in ongoing research initiatives and system-wide quality improvement efforts
  • Take on subspecialty and facility-level leadership roles within a supportive, forward-thinking department
