2-9200 – General Adult Psychiatry ICU– RN Level I - II
About The Position
This is a 22-bed adult psychiatry unit that admits individuals aged 18-60 who require intensive psychiatric stabilization. Patients may present with new or recent onset of psychosis, major depressive episodes, acute suicidality, or lack an established diagnosis or treatment history. The role involves functioning as a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, to build competency in direct patient care. The position contributes to unit activities, supports the enhancement of the care delivery system, and assists peers in patient care services. Strong interpersonal, assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
