As an Analyst I, you’ll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. Requirements

  • BA / BS Degree in Chemistry or related Sciences (or equivalent training)
  • Effective communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently following applicable training
  • Flexibility with changing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain GCMS and Formaldehyde instruments, including daily set up, weekly and monthly checks and review of quality control data
  • Process and Interpret data using GCMS Instrument Data Acquisition and processing software
  • Preparation of calibration standards
  • Use basic chemistry equipment such as micro-syringes, balances, pipettes, etc.
  • Use laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
  • Assess instrument performance
  • Assist in writing SOPs and other essential documents
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned
  • Comply with Health and Safety Program
  • Comply with Quality Assurance Program and other policies
