About The Position

We currently have openings in the operations department for Gates Assembler positions. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with a pay rate of $20-$21 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities include assembling iron products according to drawings/specifications, preparing products for shipment, delivering consistent quality, and packaging products to meet customer expectations. Additionally, employees are responsible for cleaning machinery and maintaining the surrounding area, keeping it free of debris.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Basic welding a plus
• Forklift experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble iron products according to drawings/specifications and prepare the product for shipment
• Deliver consistent quality product which is packaged to meet customer expectations
• Clean machinery; maintain the surrounding area, keeping the area free of debris
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.
• Read work instructions and set up machines as required to run different product sizes.
• Stand or walk for the entire shift and use arms and back to perform the tasks associated with the role.
• Work overtime as required with Saturday availability.
