About The Position

The Gate Monitor Attendant (GMA) is responsible for managing the flow of trucks in and out of the property, tracking trailer locations, handling driver paperwork, and performing trailer inspections. This role also involves light physical work, including lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or completion of our on-site competency test
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience needed
• Adherence to safety procedures/guidelines, including safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
• Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery.

Responsibilities

• Log trucks in and out of the computer as they come on property and leave
• Track trailer locations on property
• Take care of paperwork for the over the road drivers
• Check seals on trailers when they leave
• Check inside empty trailers when taken off property
• Light work inclusive of lifting/ carrying up to 20 lbs.
