About The Position

Valley Baptist Medical Center – Brownsville is seeking an employed GI opportunity backed by an established referral network and immediate patient demand. You'll join a respected, hospital-based group with the infrastructure, technology, and specialist support to hit the ground running from day one. As part of Tenet Health, one of the nation's largest health systems, you'll have access to resources and career pathways. This is an employed position with a well-established hospital-based GI group. The practice is outpatient with access to hospital consults and inpatient procedures. It features state-of-the-art endoscopy suites and advanced GI technology, a strong referral base with immediate patient demand upon arrival, and access to a robust Clinical Research Department. Optional teaching opportunities through the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley are available. The EMR platform is Cerner. The setting is a 243 licensed bed, Level III Trauma Center with full specialty support.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Nice To Haves

EUS certification preferred
ERCP experience desirable
