About The Position

Valley Baptist Medical Center – Brownsville is seeking an employed GI opportunity backed by an established referral network and immediate patient demand. You'll join a respected, hospital-based group with the infrastructure, technology, and specialist support to hit the ground running from day one. This is an employed position with a well-established hospital-based GI group, offering an outpatient practice with access to hospital consults and inpatient procedures. The facility boasts state-of-the-art endoscopy suites and advanced GI technology, a strong referral base with immediate patient demand, and access to a robust Clinical Research Department. Optional teaching opportunities through the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley are available, utilizing the Cerner EMR platform. The hospital is a 243 licensed bed, Level III Trauma Center setting with full specialty support.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Cerner EMR platform experience

Nice To Haves

EUS certification preferred
ERCP experience desirable
