About The Position

HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join an established hospital-based gastroenterology program serving a welcoming community in southern Oregon. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, experienced clinical and surgical support, competitive compensation, and the ability to deliver comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology care within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The position is a full-time employed role within a 174-bed community hospital and Level III Trauma Center, serving a regional population of over 110,000 residents. The role involves providing inpatient general Gastroenterology services, diagnosing and managing complex gastrointestinal conditions, performing inpatient consultations and endoscopic procedures, and potentially performing ERCP for qualified physicians. Collaboration with medical, surgical, and advanced practice colleagues is expected, as is support for the growth of the Gastroenterology service line. Ancillary income opportunities may be available through outpatient surgery management.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Oregon medical license or ability to obtain
  • DEA certification or ability to obtain
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
