About The Position

As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be a part of an employed Medical Group Gastroenterology practice serving Washington County, where there is a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care. This position would be apart of a team-based GI practice model with a strong referral base and infrastructure that will help support you in building your GI practice. This position includes a starting base salary of $620,000/annually, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance based upon distance; student loan repayment, a $1,500 monthly training stipend and future AEC opportunities are also available. You will practice at our Redrock Digestive Health Clinic with privileges at St. George Regional Hospital location alongside three GI Physicians. Call schedule is shared with group of 1:8 w/ additional call pay for extra call shifts You will have the opportunity for a (4) day work week with a mix of clinic, endoscopy and hospital service.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
ACGME Residency training in Internal Medicine & Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
DEA and BLS
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
