About The Position
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full-time General Clinical Gastroenterologist to join as faculty. This role involves working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
Requirements
- MD degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
- Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
Responsibilities
- Outpatient and inpatient management.
- Performing general procedures including endoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound, ERCP and Esophageal Motility.
- Teaching of residents and fellows with potential for clinical research.
