Gastroenterologist
About The Position
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated M.D. or D.O. Gastroenterologist to join an Article 28 healthcare facility in the Bronx, New York. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity in an outpatient clinical setting. Compensation is $160–$190 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with schedule and hours negotiable based on mutual availability. Employment may be part-time or per diem, as applicable. The position is contingent upon credentialing, privileging, and verification of applicable licensure and qualifications. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Active New York State medical license.
- Appropriate training and experience in gastroenterology.
- Excellent communication, clinical, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to meet facility credentialing and privileging requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and digestive health conditions.
- Provide consultations, follow-up visits, and appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable New York State regulations, facility policies, and clinical standards.
