About The Position
DocStar Medical Partners is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a job opportunity at a hospital facility in Michigan. This role involves providing endoscopy coverage and handling consults. The assignment is for 2 months, starting on 8/21/2026 and ending on 10/8/2026. The work schedule includes daily shifts from 7 am to 5 pm with 24-hour weekend call, but no night call. The estimated patient volume is 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes per day. Support staff includes 2 physicians and 2 APPs, with all services onsite, including lab and X-ray.
Requirements
- MD/DO Provider
- Specialty: Gastroenterology
- MI License Needed
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS Certifications Needed
- BC (Board Certified)
- Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed
Responsibilities
- Provide endoscopy coverage.
- Handle consults within the hours of 7 am – 4:30 pm.
- Provide 24-hour weekend call coverage during specified periods.
