The Facility You will practice at a large, full-service medical center in Central Texas — a teaching hospital campus with inpatient and outpatient services, on-site imaging, laboratory, pharmacy, and a broad multispecialty medical staff. Support is built in: scheduling, nursing, and ancillary teams handle the administrative load so your day stays clinical. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license (or license from another U.S. state with Texas licensure in process)
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
- Current endoscopic competency (EGD and colonoscopy)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including EGD and colonoscopy
- Provide inpatient GI consultation as scheduled
- Interpret findings and direct follow-up and surveillance plans
- Partner with primary care on screening and chronic GI management
