About The Position

Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist to join their multi-specialty practice. This role emphasizes quality, outcomes, and compassion, with strong integration with the Division of Gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic-Rochester, MN, potentially offering opportunities for clinical, consultative, research, and teaching activities. The selected individual will primarily work in Eau Claire, WI, with outreach to La Crosse, WI for advanced outpatient cases. They will join an established group of up to 12 Gastroenterologists and 9 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in a physician-led, stable organization committed to high-quality patient care. Visa sponsorship is available. The practice serves diverse patient needs, requiring general gastroenterology care, but is open to sub-specialty interests such as Advanced Endoscopy, Motility, Hepatology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Pancreas.

Requirements

Board-certified/board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
Eligible for a Wisconsin state license.
Ability to work in a physician-led, stable organization.

Responsibilities

Provide general gastroenterology care.
Potentially engage in advanced endoscopy, motility, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, and pancreas sub-specialties.
Conduct Gastroenterology Endoscopy and Clinic practice.
Provide hospital consultative services.
Collaborate with a well-established hospitalist program.
Participate in outreach to La Crosse, WI for outpatient advanced cases.
