About The Position
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is recruiting an academic gastroenterologist. This is an expansion opportunity for clinical scholars in general gastroenterology and major subspecialty areas including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, motility, endoscopy, and intestinal failure. The position offers potential for outreach to smaller communities and rural areas, telehealth, and participation in clinical research. The hospital partner, Nebraska Medicine, is a highly-rated center for digestive and liver disorders, utilizing advanced diagnostic technologies.
Requirements
- MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent degree.
- Board certified in internal medicine.
- Board certified/eligible in gastroenterology or hepatology.
- Strong commitment to patient care and teaching.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, motility, endoscopy, or intestinal failure.
- Interest in telehealth and clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in general gastroenterology and subspecialty areas.
