The Eppley Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, in collaboration with the NCI-Designated Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, is conducting a search for tenure-leading faculty members in the broad discipline of cancer research. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level will demonstrate a strong upward trajectory, based on publications and/or early-stage cancer-relevant funding. Associate Professor candidates will have a sustained strong track record of cancer-relevant research funding and publications. Professor candidates will additionally have a track record of leadership roles within academic departments and/or NCI-designated cancer centers. Individuals in all areas of cancer research will be considered, with special emphases on: cancer and the environment, epigenetics and chromatin, gene-environment interactions, chemical carcinogenesis, DNA repair and genome stability, cancer signaling, tumor microenvironment and cancer immunology, cancer stem cells, tumor dormancy, tumor recurrence, and drug resistance, obesity and metabolism, metastasis, functional genomics, therapeutic target development, and cancer proteomics.
