Gastroenterology/IBD Opportunity with BayCare Medical Group at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida
About The Position
BayCare Medical Group, the largest and most respected physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay region, is seeking a fellowship-trained Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Gastroenterologist to join a well-established gastroenterology team at the St. Joseph's Hospital Multi-Specialty Clinic in Tampa, Florida. This is a unique opportunity for an IBD specialist to help develop and grow a dedicated IBD program while serving a diverse and underserved patient population in one of Florida's most vibrant communities. The incoming physician will play a key role in shaping the clinical vision of the program and expanding access to highly specialized IBD care throughout the region.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of an accredited Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellowship.
- Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience participating in clinical research and/or clinical trials is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a comprehensive IBD clinic within an established and highly respected health system.
- Collaborate with an integrated multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
- Shared inpatient call responsibilities with the existing gastroenterology group.
