About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Gastroenterologist to join an established gastroenterology team at the St. Joseph's Hospital Multi-Specialty Clinic in Tampa, Florida. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and grow a dedicated IBD program, serving a diverse patient population. The physician will be instrumental in shaping the clinical vision and expanding access to specialized IBD care in the region. The position involves shared inpatient call responsibilities with the existing gastroenterology group.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Completion of an accredited Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellowship.
• Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.

Nice To Haves

• Experience participating in clinical research and/or clinical trials is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a comprehensive IBD clinic within an established health system.
• Collaborate with an integrated multidisciplinary team.
• Provide specialized IBD care.
• Address a significant community need for specialized IBD services.
• Share inpatient call responsibilities with the existing gastroenterology group.
