About The Position
Reporting to the Territory Manager, the Gasfitter II(B) plays a key role in the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and servicing of propane systems. This position supports Avenir Energy’s commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction across residential and commercial operations.
Requirements
- Gasfitter II certification required
- Strong knowledge of CSA B149 Gas Codes
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Nice To Haves
- Liquid propane endorsement an asset or willingness to obtain
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and service propane tanks, appliances, and vaporizers
- Provide accurate and detailed quotes to customers and sales
- Perform safe and accurate propane hook-ups
- Complete work orders, parts ordering, and invoicing
- Support shop and operational activities as needed
