Learn more at www.gevernova.com The HDGT New Units – Gas Turbine Product Cost Analyst is responsible for leading the day-to-day product costing activities for a portfolio of Gas Turbine products. This includes ITO costing, handbook costing, OTR EAC, and P2V support. The role reports to the GT ITR Product Cost Leader and works in close partnership with Product Management, ITO Finance, Application Engineering, Requisition Engineering, Factory Materials Management, Sourcing, and the Pivot to Value team.

Requirements

  • If hired outside the U.S. - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with demonstrated years of relevant experience in Finance, Engineering, or Manufacturing
  • If hired in the U.S. - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in Finance, Engineering, or Manufacturing

  • Prior exposure to Gas Turbine components, manufacturing processes, and BOM structures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day ITO costing activities for a portfolio of Gas Turbine products, including associated MSD and Requisition Engineering costs, in close collaboration with the Application Engineering and ITO Finance teams.
  • Support the handover of budgets from ITO to OTR for factories, sourcing, and requisition engineering teams.
  • Lead the quarterly EAC (Estimate at Completion) reviews with factories for deals transitioned to OTR, including EAC submissions and related analytics.
  • Monitor upcoming NPI changes that impact Gas Turbine product costing, quarterly reported actual costs, and implemented P2V cost-out initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate the annual handbook costing exercise for Gas Turbine material, labor, MSD, and Requisition Engineering scope, partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Factory Materials Management and Costing teams, and Sourcing.
  • Ensure alignment with Engineering on the handbook AO definition and maintain handbook cost completeness.
  • Prepare comprehensive year-over-year handbook comparisons and support associated senior management reviews.
  • Support recurring Gas Turbine Product Cost outlooks throughout the year in collaboration with the P2V and EAC teams to help achieve business cost-out targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement, lean practices, and process automation across costing activities.
