About The Position

This entry-level team member position is responsible for delivering remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The role includes a variety of retail tasks involving products, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising, as well as collaboration with other team members and managers on additional tasks as needed. The posting also describes a General Merchandise Clerk role applicable to Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.

Requirements

Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communication skills, both face-to-face and virtually.

Responsibilities

Build rapport with customers.
Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
Help customers with questions, or direct them to another team member who can answer.
Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
Use technology to complete activities and tasks.
Complete retail tasks related to products, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising.
Collaborate with team members and managers on additional tasks as needed.
