About The Position

Blossman Gas & Appliance is seeking a Gas Service Technician or Apprentice Technician for their stable location in Foley, AL. This is a growth opportunity within the largest independent propane company in America, with over 85 branch locations across 12 states. Service Technicians will install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, and will also install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, and generators. Apprentice level candidates with mechanical aptitude will also be considered. The position offers excellent professional growth potential and meaningful work in a stable industry.

Requirements

Prior propane experience.
Prior appliance installation/repair experience.
Prior mechanical experience.
Mechanical aptitude (for apprentice level).
Customer service skills.
Ability to perform occasional on-call duty.
Ability to work as a contributing member of a team.
Strong commitment to safety.
Must live locally in the Foley / Baldwin County, AL area.

Responsibilities

Install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.
