About The Position
BLOSSMAN GAS & APPLIANCE, INC is seeking qualified applicants for the position of CDL Route Driver at our Bowdon branch location. This is a growing company seeking dedicated route drivers to join our team. Drivers will be working daily serving customers in the greater Carroll County, GA areas. Blossman Gas is the largest independent propane company in America with over 85 locations. CDL Route Sales professionals are responsible for the safe, timely delivery of propane on established routes to commercial and residential customers. This position is ideal for someone with prior propane delivery or route sales experience who enjoys driving locally. The company has an established teamwork culture, and seeks someone motivated and desiring to grow professionally. Success in this role requires enjoyment of customer service, relationship selling, and being a contributing member of a team environment while promoting Blossman's products and services. Driving and delivering in all-weather conditions is necessary, though most days are in pleasant weather. A strong commitment to safety, consistent with company policy, is a must, with ongoing education provided. Regular bending, lifting, and pulling are associated with this job, which involves more than sitting at a desk.
Requirements
- Valid CDL.
- Hazmat and tanker endorsements within 90 days of hire.
- Clean driving record.
- Prior propane delivery or route sales experience.
- Prior strong mechanical experience.
- Enjoy customer service work.
- Ability to work in all-weather conditions.
- Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, and pulling.
