About The Position

Federated Co-ops, Inc. is hiring a full-time Gas or Oil CDL Driver to work out of its Albertville Fuel Center in Albertville, Minnesota. The driver safely loads and operates a tank truck to deliver fuel into customers’ storage tanks and equipment in accordance with company, division, and location policies and procedures. The role also involves supporting sales efforts and maintaining the bulk facility, truck, and equipment.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Currently possess or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
Currently possess or be able to obtain Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and maintain endorsements required by the job.
Strong customer focus.
Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate.
Ability to operate a manual transmission.
Ability to work outside in cold and warm temperatures.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance.
Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear and taste or smell.

Nice To Haves

3–5 years of bulk fuel delivery or driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely load fuel into the bulk truck and deliver it into customers’ storage tanks and equipment in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures.
Operate trucks, vehicles, equipment, and tools safely and efficiently while following DOT regulations, company policies, manufacturer instructions, and applicable laws and codes.
Assist the sales department with calls and potential sales target areas.
Continuously inspect and maintain the bulk facility, bulk truck, and equipment to ensure cleanliness, safety, proper operation, and a positive cooperative image.
Document work as required by company, division, and location policies.
