About The Position

The Gas Lift Technician provides technical service for artificial lift products to exploration and production (E&P) companies. The role determines suitable products for well optimization and installs and repairs equipment and components. The technician communicates with clients, management, and team members and manages job tickets, including securing and maintaining the inventory of products, equipment, tools, and other items needed to complete assigned tasks.

The position is based in La Vernia, Texas. It requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing repetitive physical activities, including moving and lifting up to 50 pounds and standing and bending for as long as 10 hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification, an associate degree, or higher is also listed.
• Demonstrated work experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of safe oil and gas production operations and compliance with OSHA and other local regulatory policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, sound mechanical aptitude, and reasonable English writing skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical activities, move and lift 50 pounds, and stand and bend for 10 hours.
• Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills, and a professional, courteous demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Two to three years of related experience preferred.
