About The Position

Flowco is seeking a Shop Hand to support its artificial lift operations. The role assists with gas lift jobs and equipment identification, testing mandrels and valves, identifying valve and port sizes for job designs, maintaining the shop, and delivering equipment to the field as needed. Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 2 years of solid working experience.
• Able to work 8 or more hours per shift.
• Able to work full-time and maintain great attendance.
• Basic mechanical ability.
• Courteous and positive attitude, with a sense of urgency, drive, pride, and desire to succeed.
• Safety- and quality-minded, detail-oriented, and possess basic math and computer skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds, as stated under Physical Demands. The minimum skills section separately says the worker must be able to lift 85 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working with small mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Identify different artificial lift equipment with guidance until able to do so independently.
• Assist in setting up gas lift jobs until fully trained to do so independently.
• Test multiple sizes of mandrels and valves.
• Identify valve and port sizes to complete specific job designs.
• Maintain a clean shop and work area.
• Be on call as needed.
• Make deliveries to the field as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
