Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Gas Bar Supervisor (40hours/week) at our 2nd Avenue C-Store/Gas Bar location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in a retail gas bar environment.
  • Proven experience in using POS systems, processing transactions, balancing tills, and completing end of day procedures.
  • Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate with team members.
  • Able to plan and organize your own work, supervise others, and delegate duties to others.
  • Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including standing, working inside and outside, and lifting 20 to 25lbs regularly.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certifications.
  • Possess a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
  • Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Provide pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and supervise new and existing team members.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and receive stock as assigned.
  • Oversee daily cash reconciliations, point of sale operations, and deposits.
  • Ensure compliance with age-restricted sales including tobacco, lottery, and fireworks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
  • Open and close the store as assigned.
  • Support and embody Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
