About The Position

Clearview Co-op is hiring a Gas Bar & C-Store Manager to serve our members and customers at our Gas Bar & C-Store located in Ile des Chenes, MB. This role is an opportunity to be the Manager everyone wants to work for, and shop with! As part of our team, you’ll represent our brand “You’re at Home Here”, by delivering friendly, positive, and professional experience to all customers, visitors, suppliers, and team members.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years experience in a retail environment
  • 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience
  • A passion for great customer service
  • An exceptional team player and can build great working relationships
  • Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented and strive to be the best
  • Able and willing to complete the required certifications for the position
  • Able and willing to flex your hours to be present and work with staff to ensure appropriate performance management standards are established
  • Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and recognize the value that different perspectives
  • Available and willing to work flexible shifts in support of our retail business which includes days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses, and inventory.
  • Responsible for the overall staffing and motivation of the team.
  • Provide effective leadership to a team of employees, and ensure all health, safety and Asset Protection regulations and standards are adhered to.
  • Maintain adequate stock through efficient inventory management and ensure product is presented in a way that adheres to image standards.
  • Ensure effective training in customer service, product knowledge, inventory control, and merchandising.
  • Ensure proper management of assets and adherence to schedules.
  • Prepare annual budgets for approval and achieve goals set forth as a result.
  • Lead the team of employees to create high engagement levels and foster an environment of learning and development.
