About The Position
North Central Co-op is seeking a part-time Gas Bar Attendant to join their team at the Silverberry Gas Bar/C-Store location in Edmonton, AB. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and efficient operation, and adhering to company policies. Responsibilities include servicing vehicles, filling propane bottles, operating the point-of-sale terminal, assisting with opening and closing duties, and performing general housekeeping. North Central Co-op is a member-owned organization focused on sustainability and community benefit, operating numerous Gas Bars, Food Stores, Liquor Stores, and other facilities across Western Canada. They pride themselves on their unique business model where profits benefit member-owners and their communities.
Requirements
- Retail gas bar experience.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience and willingness to work outside in inclement weather.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Results-oriented.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate to deliver solutions.
- Recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
Nice To Haves
- Open availability for a variety of shifts (morning and evenings, 5:30 am to 10:30 pm) is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service.
- Maintain a safe and efficient operation.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Service vehicle(s).
- Fill propane bottles.
- Operate the point-of-sale terminal.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the Gas Bar.
- Complete general housekeeping duties.
- Assist team members when necessary.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
