About The Position

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Lead, this role supports quality control for high post production garments. You will inspect finished product, communicate when garments need to be corrected or redone, and help ensure orders are accurate, clean, counted, folded, labeled, boxed, and ready for shipping. This is a hands-on production role for someone who has a strong eye for detail, takes pride in quality, and likes steady, team-based work. Sewing machine experience is helpful for sewing labels on garments as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer experience, including Excel, Word, or tablet use.
  • Keen eye for detail, quality-focused, meticulous, and self-motivated.
  • Able to work well on a team, take direction, and stay reliable and responsible.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for 8 to 10 hours per shift.
  • Able to lift 30-50 lb. boxes efficiently and safely.
  • Employee must be able to read, write, understand, and follow work instructions, order details, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, problem solving, communication, dependability, judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Sewing machine experience is helpful for sewing labels on garments as needed.
  • Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, HPP, quality control, garment inspection, or sewing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect high post production garments for correct ink or thread colors, logo placement, labels, and general flaws.
  • Maintain Lakeshirts quality standards and communicate with teammates when garments need correction or redo.
  • Sort, count, fold, tag, label, box, and record garments by size, color, style, and quantity for shipping.
  • Read work orders and profiles to ensure each account is processed correctly.
  • Use computer programs, tablets, and Excel to access order profiles and garment steps.
  • Use sewing machine experience to sew labels on garments as needed.
  • Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe while following OSHA standards.
  • Work actively with others to meet team goals and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Employee must be able to read, write, understand, and follow work instructions, order details, quality standards, and safety procedures.
