About The Position

Join AccuTrex Products, Inc - Gasket Shop Finisher - Daylight shift Monday through Friday. At AccuTrex Products, Inc., we manufacture high-precision metal components for customers who demand quality. AccuTrex Products, Inc. is hiring a Finisher for our Gasket Shop that will perform post-machining deburring, cleaning and packing operations, meet production standards, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing/machine shop
• Ability to work independently and methodically
• Handle a high volume environment
• Great attention to detail
• Solid math skills
• Demonstrate a consistent commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to handle large metal sheets
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Manual dexterity to hold and examine small machined parts using the necessary tools

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of parts finishing experience

Responsibilities

• Using hand tools selected, remove burrs from part, polish, clean, etc. as needed.
• Review the part information sheet to determine proper tools for use.
• Count parts and record quantity and date in shop packet; move parts to next work center.
• Operate parts cleaning equipment to clean parts between processes.
• Check parts visually for machining irregularities and communicate problems to Quality Assurance and Production Managers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
