About The Position

To place and maintain new garage business with appropriate carriers dependent upon state, pricing, carrier guidelines, and general best garage practices.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working in a Garage specific capacity
• Self-motivator/organizer
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Strong phone and email communication skills
• Computer efficiency
• Quick decision making

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred but not necessary
• Surplus Lines licensing preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and rate risks
• Maintain underwriting documentation
• Maintain relationship balance between agents and carriers
• Maintain new business until renewal including, but not limited to, endorsement rating, inspection review and adherence, carrier requests, and communication with the agent and carrier throughout the policy
